Llandeilo Primary School has been on quiet a journey over six months, enriching the school with the latest evidence based well-being resources…

GwylanUK is proud to be working in partnership, involved originally with PausePoints a resource that promotes points of calm in the school day through movement breaks inspired by yoga and relaxation techniques.

Llandeilo continued their pastoral package of support for pupils, staff and reaching out to the community with a further wellbeing enrichment programme delivered again by well-being training providers GwylanUK

The innovative three part programme, establishes what well-being means to the children, through an interactive fun and friendly classroom, a wellbeing day for the staff and finally a celebration of the programme in a living Labyrinth garden designed by international artist Marc Treanor and sponsored by LBS Building supplies… built by parents, pupils staff to creating a tranquil outdoors space for connection and celebration of the daily experiences at Llandeilo Primary School…

The labyrinth as a stand-alone educational resource provides a familiar and tranquil setting to recharge, refocus and connect. The additional garden aspect of the design has created a talking point for the community and promotes an inclusive outdoor educational experiences at the school, becoming an opportunity for children, staff and parents to connect and explore the changing seasons and how this impacts on the environment.
